Free Assessments
Any of the assessments below will provide some direction for your healing
journey. Please read the descriptions below and take whichever assessments resonate with you. It's OK to
take more than one! I ask for your email address for each, so that I can give you more information targeted to your
specific need. I'm an avid researcher, and love to share what I'm learning, but I only want to send help that
applies to you.
Take the Free Love Styles Quiz to Identify Your Core
Relational Issues
I have begun using the Love Styles quiz with clients to pinpoint how they learned to love based on
childhood experiences. It is an excellent way to target areas of healing and growth.
Your childhood experiences form the foundation of who you are, continuing
to inform the way you respond to others or express love, even far into adulthood. The results of all these
experiences are actually very predictable because people tend to fall into one of five special categories, which
Milan and Kay Yerkovich, authors of How We Love, call "Love Styles."
This quiz from the Yerkoviches will score you in each of
the five Love Style categories, with a high score in any category signaling a trouble area.
While most people will have a single, dominant Love Style, it is possible for you to have multiple problem areas. Don’t worry, at the end of the quiz
they’ll explain your results and provide you with some next steps to begin your emotional recovery.
I am asking you to sign up below so that I can follow up with other helpful tools
and ways to use this in your healing journey. The Love Styles quiz is from Kay and Milan Yerkovich, from their
website.

Do You Have a More Finely-Tuned Nervous System than
Other People?
If you find:
-
you need more down time than most people because you process things deeply
...
-
you tend to be overstimulated easily by strong sensory input (noise, crowds), strong
emotions, etc. ...
-
you are emotionally responsive, especially to people and their emotions
...
-
you notice every little thing ...
you might be part of the 20% of the population with the inborn trait of High
Sensitivity (or Sensory Processing Sensitivity).
Take the assessment for High Sensitivity and begin to learn how to thrive as a Highly
Sensitive Person (HSP). (This quiz is a psychologically-validated assessment developed by Dr.
Elaine Aron, author of The Highly Sensitive Person and other books on this trait, and the pioneer in
discovering this trait.)

Take the Childhood
Emotional Neglect Questionnaire if You Feel Something is Missing from Your Life, But You Don't Know What It
Is.
Do you feel a vague sense of emptiness, or
incompleteness, or like you're "not enough"? Yet you look at your childhood, and you had no major
traumas that you can remember. In fact, you don't have many memories at all.
There is a reason for this. You may have grown up with Childhood Emotional Neglect
(CEN)--where you didn't get enough emotional
support. Yet, because you didn't learn what it would feel like to have emotional support, you
don't know what you've missed.
Take the CEN assessment and find out if this is true of
you.
Note: I have found that most HSPs grew up with CEN, simply because most parents aren't aware
of the special needs of HSPs and so were unable to provide the kind of support HSP children
need.
